Jonathan Cohen ‘10, Founder & Owner of J Forrest Development and member of the Cornell Real Estate Council, has added yet another property to their residential portfolio, The Oliver.
The 222-unit, midrise multifamily community is currently under construction and located at 3020 Gloryland Avenue in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Property will consist of three, four – and five – story buildings, 260 surface parked parking spaces and an impressive assortment of community amenities, including a saltwater pool, gated pet park, fitness center and a clubhouse. As a builder with 15 years of experience, Jonathan has overseen over 600 Million dollars of construction including, residential, commercial, retail, hotel, education, healthcare and multifamily projects.
Jonathan earned his bachelor’s in civil engineering from Tufts University and his master’s in real estate from Cornell University. Jonathan spent the next 5 years working for two highly regarded Connecticut-based developers, RMS Companies and Spinnaker Real Estate Partners. As a team member, he was able to participate in, construct, manage, lease, market or sell over hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate before forming J. Forrest Development, LLC.
