Meet the Chapter Leadership Team

Adam Goldstein

MPA ’11

Mr. Goldstein is responsible for asset management and disposition of Turnstone’s land and REO portfolio, which includes seeking value-add initiatives, such as select development opportunities.

Prior to joining Turnstone Group, Mr. Goldstein worked at John Burns Real Estate Consulting, where he provided detailed housing analysis and economic market data for home builders, institutional investors and financial clients. Previously, he worked as an Asset Manager for Cygnus Capital, an Atlanta based real estate investment firm, where he managed a portfolio of land, commercial and residential real estate assets. At Cygnus, Mr. Goldstein was responsible for sourcing new acquisition opportunities, monitoring investment and development projects, as well as presenting new business opportunities. At Cygnus, Mr. Goldstein provided underwriting and due diligence for the acquisition, development, and sale of residential and commercial mortgages and properties. Further, he worked on the permitting and development of single-family homes and residential land tracts in the Atlanta metro area as well as in Jackson, WY. Mr. Goldstein also worked as a senior financial analyst at The Situs Companies, where he underwrote over $500MM in senior and mezzanine commercial real estate / CMBS loans for banks and investment firms. Mr. Goldstein began his career at Bank of America, where he went through the investment banking analyst program.

Adam received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from The University of Alabama and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in finance & economic policy from Cornell University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of Georgia.

Andy Green

Baker ’11

Andy Green is the Partner who leads the investments division at TriBridge. He is responsible for the origination of acquisition and development opportunities for the company. Having joined the company 2013, Andy has overseen over $1 billion of transaction volume including 1065 Midtown, a luxury high-rise in Midtown Atlanta, Inman Quarter, a mixed-use property in the Inman Park neighborhood in Atlanta, and more recently the Aderhold Portfolio, an 8-property portfolio of adaptive re-use projects located in and around the Atlanta MSA.

From 2011 through 2013, Andy was a Vice President with responsibilities of acquisitions and asset management for Lubert Adler Real Estate Funds, a Philadelphia based private equity firm. During his time at Lubert Adler, Andy acquired approximately $750 million of hotels and apartment communities. Prior to joining Lubert Adler, Andy was an investment banker in the real estate group at Friedman, Billings, Ramsey, a Washington D.C. based firm.

Andy received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance from Cornell University.

In his spare time, Andy enjoys playing golf, and training for Ironman competitions. When he is not in the office, he can usually be found watching a Tar Heels game or spending time with his family in Wrightsville Beach, NC.

Zachary Tanenbaum

BS ’06

Mr. Tanenbaum currently works at Starwood Capital Group, a $120 billion real estate asset manager, serving as the Head of Investor Strategy for Starwood Property Trust, Inc. (NYSE: STWD), Starwood’s $27 billion publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). In this role, Mr. Tanenbaum is responsible for cultivating and managing the company’s relationships with the global investment and analyst communities.

Prior to joining Starwood Property Trust in 2014, Mr. Tanenbaum served as a Senior Analyst at Wesley Capital Management, a long/short real estate securities hedge fund. In this role, he generated investment ideas across the REIT, real estate operating company, specialty finance and homebuilding sectors. He previously served in senior sell-side equity research positions at FBR Capital Markets and MLV & Co. covering the Real Estate, Mortgage and Specialty Finance sectors.

Mr. Tanenbaum received a B.S. degree from Cornell University and an M.S. degree in real estate, with a concentration in finance and investment, from New York University.
